Donut Day at Tim Hortons 2025
The annual Donut Day at Tim Hortons in support of Special Olympics Canada is back. 100% of proceeds will be going back to Special Olympics athletes when purchasing a donut.

National Winter Games Calgary 2024
The 2024 Special Olympic Canada National Winter Games will be taking place in Calgary, Alberta from February 27th- March 2nd. Special Olympics New Brunswick will be taking over 30 athletes to participate in 6 different winter sports.

2023 Provincial Winter Games
We are happy to announce that the 2023 Special Olympics Provincial Winter Games will be hosted in Fredericton, NB, from February 9th to February 12th!
Mayor Kate Rogers met with Special Olympics Staff staff and Volunteers to discuss hosting the 2023 Provincial Winter Games in the Capital Region. “I look forward to welcoming these athletes to our community!”, said Mayor Kate Rogers.

Virtual Coaching Course with Mario Richard

SONB’s Mario Richard will be hosting a Virtual Coaching Course on August 23rd, 30th, and September 6th from 6pm - 10pm. Wether you are thinking of becoming a coach, a new coach looking to take the mandatory course or a seasoned coach wanting a refresher on the competitions course, all are welcome!

Softball NB Try It Day
Softball NB is hosting a “Try It Day” at Bliss Carman on August 10th from 6pm - 7pm with their Community Caravan program!
Ages 5-15yrs
You must register for this event and registration is limited. Please email Youth Coordinator, Kate Maston, at nbyouth@specialolympics.ca to register and for more information.

There will be a SONB Swim Meet at the Saint John Aquatic Center on June 11th from 2pm - 5pm. Everyone is welcome to come and watch to cheer on the swimmers!
